February 23, 1997: Here's your story. This 67 Nova is the first car I bought in high school. I bought it when it was 2 years old. I paid $600 for it plus my 1963 Mercury Comet ( I bought that for $200). It is a 6cyl, 194cid, AT, Nova SS. Everything on it is original except for tires, battery, and those expendible things. No power steering, brakes, AC; just your basic car. According to GM it is 1 of 1900 made. I drive it a little. It has 89,000 original miles. I still get about 2 4 mpg.The interior needs a little work. The carpet is a little worn. The original radio works. The clock is dead. I'm thinking about pulling the engine and trans, then putting them in storage. Droping a 350 cid and 350 trans. All I need is the $$$. Thats about it.
August 14, 1998: I have since fixed the clock, added cruise control, inlayed wood into the glovebox cover and radio. Also, the radio is now an AM/FM cassette. I have also added AC from Vintage Air. By the way, for your info, Vintage
Air is a great company. I had problems with the installation. They apologized for the problems and paid for all the work.
